Nanyang Girls' High School [*IP]

Having survived PSLE. we still need to network with other parents with kids in the same Secondary school. While giving our teenagers their own space, we can update each other about the school.

262 ... is very high!

suppose there is one last vacancy left, and there are 2 girls applied.
one with 262, another with 260 + (2).

who'll this last seat be given to ?
to the one with 262, or take in both ?

the one with the high score in decimal places will get in

the t-score is up to at least 13 or 15 decimal places

so there will never be any two with identical scores

Btw parents of Sec 1, any lobang to purchase iPad2 apart from the vendors that the sch had recommended during the iPad briefing ? Do you think there'll be any discount at any IT fair ? TIA.
The price for iPad is pretty standard. I don't think you will get any discount, maybe some free gifts if you purchase at some of the IT fairs. DD already has an iPad (the original one, not iPad 2). We were thinking if we should get the iPad 2, but decided to make use of the current one first. Maybe iPad 3 will be out soon, I don't know. We have just upgraded the OS to the latest and have downloaded all the "free apps" that are required. Realized that we cannot download one of the apps that require the camera since the old iPad does not have a camera.
Hi, i was reading the forum...do you mean NYGH gals are required to purchase an iPad for their lessons?

Hi  wonder if anyone knows what will happen if the CCA that you have been selected conducts training that clashes with days that you have your 3rd lang....
Will you be asked to give up on 3rd lang?

every school knows the 3rd lang schedule

most schools will not have CCA on 3rd lang days, so no clash at all
