* Eunoia JC (EJC)

Is there life after O/A-Levels? Definitely! How well a person does in tertiary education is correlated with job opportunities open to the person. Discuss issues pertaining to nstitutes of higher learning here.

I am very impressed! There are more NYJC awardees than RI and HCI !! So caring, to want to pursue a career in public healthcare (such as nursing and radiography).
Yes, some want to pursue a career in Mindef/SAF such as Engineer,Medic.
Its just validated again that IP JC is not everything: eg EJC with high IP kids but relative low Healthcare scholarship awarded.

Btw, the SAF Scholarship recipients reported in KSP include CT graduates dated few years back.
HCI web site reported only 11 graduands got SAF Scholarship ( a few graduated 2018)
and not 19 awardees as shared KSP.
So other JCs awardees probably graduated 3-5 years ago.

Obvious the informer dont know the Scholarship processes, thinking they are recent graduands.

Me too. Interested to know.

When no one quote their sauce recipe, I assume it’s one of those dishes that my Nigerian Prince friend used to cook up.

Thanks for the sauce but numbers don’t add up.
107 names, photos and schools but numbers presented is only 36.
Do you mind coming back with a table showing the rest of the 71 names of schools as well?
On top of that, there isn’t any indication whether 107 is the complete list, or 3/4 of a list or 1/2 of a list. Without that, what exactly is the picture you or anyone is trying to paint?
If 36 from 107 is only part of a list of 200, what exactly is this conversation about?

This may not be a complete list. I know a HCI girl who got the award from OYK but I did not see her pic featured in the 107 photos.

Who is saying that IPJC is everything?
The difference should be minimal between an IP student and a top O level student. Just don’t understand why NYJC underrepresented for top-tier PSC scholarships.

Btw, this Healthcare scholarship is for those who wish to pursue a public healthcare career as a Nurse, Radiographer, Physiotherapist, etc and does not include medicine undergrads, if I am not wrong. RI,
/HCI students not in the list probably got into school of medicine already lah.

Which is...
Precisely why I am asking :rotflmao:

Otherwise, it's GIGO.

Floppy, u were asking abt the 71 names/photos earlier.
I did PM u all 107 photos uploaded in Healthcare FB.
I can see all recipients in FB.

Now Imp75 mentioned missing photo of a HCI , now u said thats 'why I am asking'.
U need to upgrade yr IT skills and have some integrity.

To Imp75, be more specified that HCI gal award.
Did she attend that day Healthcare Sch Presentation Day?
If so, she can voice out why her photo MIA?

Healthcare FB is official.

Healthcare FB is official.
No one doubt the official-ness of the Healthcare FB.

The only valid questions are:
1. Why was 36 schools / names singled out in the comment earlier? What happen to the 70 others? What was the thought process in picking out some schools and not others?
2. Is 107 pictures the full, 3/4 or 1/2 of a list? Were some pictures and not shared? Did some or many people missed the ceremony?
3. Were the award for the ‘20, ‘21 graduating batch? (Probably doesn’t really matter)

We can see what we can see. However, it’s the things that we can’t see that needed questioning. I take it that you do not know, and that’s perfectly fine. Without presenting a full picture or at least some disclaimer to what was / wasn’t presented, it’s akin to arguing that the elephant is thin and slender because we can only feel and hold the tail.

TL; DR - it’s GIGO.
