Does anyone know the difference between H1 maths and H2 maths? Is it only the topics taught are different? How does it affect the admission to university?

Most uni will take H2 into consideration but not really H1.cheese wrote:Does anyone know the difference between H1 maths and H2 maths? Is it only the topics taught are different? How does it affect the admission to university?

H2 maths is much tougher than H1 Maths but it's easier to get A compared to other more general and less specific subjects like arts.

For me, i find doing past year H1 maths papers from other schools a good way to get an A. You can start with the June common tests papers from other schools. I didn't really have much time to do assessment books. TYS perhaps? Good tuition helps.
