Many thanks for your packing list. It takes a lot of stress off the packing for my son's summer programme in UK. :smile:

Realise most girls would pack their favourite soft toy along. 4 months is very long but nowadays with facetime, msn video, cheap international calling card, still not so bad. DD is going for 5 weeks to winter country, her first time in cold weather. I am a bit worried.

daisyt, your dd's going on a school exchange programme? So exciting. Where is she going?

Yikes! That's a lot of stuff! I'm amazed it's less than 30kgs! I'm sure she'll have an awesome time. 4 months will fly by!

Its part of a subject learning programe, compulsory twice a year. This year end is beijng and xian.

Beijing and Xian in Nov/Dec. It's going to be cold. Better pack heat packs and lots of warm clothing. Your dd must be very excited. :)
