does NUS prefer H2 Math to H1 Math for Business course?

Hi, I need to know whether NUS would prefer a student who took (and got an A for) H2 Math to H1 Math for their Business Admin course.
Of course, stuff like vectors that I will learn in H2 Math wouldn't be what the university requires the students to already know in order to take business course; but I have a feeling they will prefer students who seem to be more competent in math (ie, took H2 Math) for their business course.
On their website, they specify that they only require H1 Math for business but I can't be sure that it means they won't have any preference regards to this.
My math is not very strong and I do not really like the subject: I got A2 for both A Math and E Math in O levels and I think I will have trouble coping with H2 Math.

I'm thinking of the following subject combination:
H2 Economics
H2 History
H2 Literature
H1 Math.

but if NUS does prefer H2 Math, I would have to take H1 Lit and H2 Math.
Does anyone have any idea? Please help me, this is very urgent!
Thank you!

According to NUS Office of Admission website, the prerequisites for Business Administration and Business Administration (Accountancy) is : H1 pass in Mathematics or pass in 'O' Level Additional Mathematics.
(http://www.nus.edu.sg/oam/apply/local/p ... sites.html)

Hence I think it will be safe to do H1 Maths.

However according to my niece who did H2 Economics previously, she needs to know maths topics like Statistics, Differentiation when she study Econs.

I suggest you check with your JC tutors whether H1 Maths is sufficient or you need H2 Maths in order to do H2 econ and subsequently do Business Degree in NUS.

Stick to the suggested combination and secure good scores to enter Business
Admin. The jump from E/A Math to H2 Math is very big and more suited for those who are good in Math. NUS does not show a preference for people with H2 Math. You should not compare Business Administration to Economics for at the university level, Economics relies mainly on mathematical models. (H2 Economics is very different from university Economics.)
