My boy is currently in JC1, he found that his current JC's teaching and resource's is not enough to help him further, notes given are more simple than those better JC, he has to find other resources.
He is kinda of demoralise, how can I encouraged him plus wonder he can make it into local U??? any advice??? very worry:(

It is true that some JC's resources are insufficient as each JC interpret the syllabus differently. Some JCs are more willing to invest in notes and add in additional information that are not in syllabus. For JC syllabus, there is a strong focus on application of theory hence A level papers are getting increasingly difficult as some questions are slightly out of syllabus.

I am currently selling H2 Chem, H2 Math and H1 GP notes at $80. Notes are from top jc with exam papers, tutorial qns, tutorial ans, lecture notes and model answers. Hoping to get rid of them since I am having springcleaning now.

Both the teacher and junior college one goes to matter. It would be foolish to assume either doesn't play a role in helping the student achieve good academic results.
I think what she meant is that some teachers give more notes (spoonfeed more) while some teachers make the students write their own notes and source for their own resources (hence less notes and resources given). In this sense, yes, amount of notes, and even time the teacher is willing to spare to do extra classes and tuition differs among teachers.

Yes, it's true, which is why it's better to get tuition outside.
