I thought this NSW tests only done in primary school but then, in secondary school, my girl's school also participating. I don't really understand what is the objective of this ICAS and of what help do these tests are for the students. If they score higher distinction, is it going to help in future whatever course applying in University or tertiary ? Any parents have a better understanding than me to share ? Thanks a lot. :D

My student from Xinmin does these tests since primary school and also in secondary school now. Only some schools participates in NSW tests, mostly as enrichment.

It adds a little bit of sparkle only if you get distinction from it. That is from my past experience sitting on university admission committees.

other than that, it can serve as good practice material for your child.
