Any NJCians or VJcians Out there?- VJC VS NJC ?

I have obtained nett 4 points and am living in the serangoon area. Having zoned in on the above two JCs, i am uncertain which should be a better choice. Personally, i am inclined towards NJC as the school has a really good environment-many open areas and nice landscaping- but that is not the point. I am unsure of the vibe of the school, but it has been mentioned in many threads that NJCians are overall more introverted. VJCians are at the other end of the spectrum-extroverted and outgoing. I am rather reserved and am not sure if i will fit in at VJC. I hope to be able to obtain leadership opportunities-despite my reticence but know that i stand little chance in VJC; would NJC ,thus, be a better option? Besides, none of my friends are planning to go into NJC

serangoon travel to victoria is like 1hour!! ;O are you crazy! in jc ccas end at around 6 and 7pm! heard from my seniors also if you stay back to consult teachers you only go home around 9pm! by the time you reach home 1h, where got time do homework? njc is not so bad, somemore you say you are the reserved type? will probably fit into nj. my brother is in vjc, the students there all very rah-rah type!

Choosing to go to a JC just because your friends are there is really not a wise choice. When you go to a JC, you can make plenty of new friends, shouldn't just follow the herd.

Travelling distance to NJC is an hour plus too. Actually, was hoping that a more lively environment will help me to become less introverted.

Yes, but a new environment is always frightening and knowing that you have someone you are familiar with you is comforting. Anyway, where are you planning to head to skyed?

I'm probably heading to TJC. It's only 5minutes from my place. Many seniors and even my teachers have recommended me to choose JC based on distance, because school ends REALLY late in JC, especially if you're in those hardcore CCAs/Student Council. My seniors who take 1h+ to travel to their JCs tell me that sleeping at 3am is normal for them. :faint:

Impossible to sleep at 11pm I heard... Earliest (according to seniors) is 12am, 1am. :faint: :faint:

I can't imagine sleeping so late either omg. Thank goodness got decent JC near my place... I was considering NJC too, but end up not going because it's almost 1h away for me...
