URGENT: Safe to appeal into VJC?

Postby BHeathrow » Thu Jan 16, 2014 11:09 pm

I got a raw score of 9 and a nett score of 7 (after minus CCA)

What would the chances for appealing to VJC be?

Replies are much appreciated

Thank you :))

Chances for science is low. Vjc seems very popular to the 3-5 pointers this year.

What about for VJC arts? Would there be a better chance? I am more into arts actually over science.

I think you might stand a chance appealing for VJC arts but do bear in mind that going into Arts Stream practically eliminates your chance of getting a Science Degree in the future (Engineering, Applied Physics, Mathematics Science, Life sciences etc). If you are still unsure of what exactly do you want to take in Uni then i would recommend that you go for Science Stream instead as it is easy for a Science Stream student to get into a degree programme that is consider as "Arts" (Business, Economics, Psychology, Social Services etc) but not vice-versa.

For more information on what are the other JCs that you COP is eligible for, do visit the site that i found.

http://www.cutoffpoint.sg/cut-off-points-for-JC

All you have to do is just key in your COP into the system and all the available choice would be listed automatically for you!
