Hi,

Does anyone have a child who is taking the dual degree program partnered by NUS and Paris Institute of Political Science? I would like to connect to get more info on housing and admin on the French side. Thanks!

Hi
My DD is taking the dual degree program but she would be based in the Le Harve campus.
Is yours also based in Le Harve?

Hi titank, was on this subject with a US friend. He said that you must gain admission first then apply for the scholarship. It will be based on household income like for MIT US$60K you get full tuition fee, aoive US$60K below $XXXK, you get 50% of the tuition fee and so forth. But must not be very popular courses like Med, Law, etc. Every uni is different, check with them directly.

For UK universities - there are hardly any (maybe none) scholarships for undergraduate studies, especially for foreign students. The best bet for a scholarship to Oxford is to apply for a local (Singapore) one.

Hi Titank,

The University/Career Guidance Office at the JCs are a good place to start sourcing for information on overseas university entry and scholarships. Sometimes, the JCs will shortlist (and/or spread) applicants among the top overseas universities.

Sorry - are you asking about scholarships from overseas, or scholarships from Singapore to study overseas? Just realised that if you might be asking about scholarships from Singapore. If so, there are quite a lot and either the JCs or websites like Brightsparks will be the best places to start looking.

My earlier reply is if you are thinking of scholarships from overseas to study overseas, which are more common in the US. (eg. funding from a UK source to study at Oxford probably doesn't exist for non-UK students.)
