Sample questions should be available to the students too, I expect? There isn't an issue of "leaking" unless they are actual exam questions before the exam is held. After all, there are past year papers for H2 exams.Mantissa wrote:Some teachers were given some sample H3 math questions in order to prepare for the teaching of the subject but I don't think anyone would leak them. Well, I gave my comments above after I tried the questions.
For H3 syllabuses, your daughter may go to SEAB website to check. H3 econs syllabus is very detailed. (All other syllabuses are more detailed than the H3 math one. )
We've looked at the syllabuses. Yes, the Maths one is so brief that it tells you the barest bones! The problem with these documents is that they are not really descriptive enough to give you a feel of how the course will be taught and the style of questions, and with the new syllabuses, even the current JC2 students can't help. I'm not sure how much briefing the teachers in school will give the students; promo results are out on Monday so maybe they will be told more after that. It seems that she will just have to pick one and hope for the best!
