My qusestion is

SMU or NUS Law?

It is well know that students will opt for NUS Law over SMU Law unless rejected by NUS Law
Can someone here advise the PROs n CONs of both unis here please?
How to make the final decision IF accepted by BOTH?
Thanks in advance !

How did your DS find the SMU and NUS interviews n written tests?

Heard NUS written test was pretty tough.

NTU has a lot of interesting new double degree programmes this year.
Older courses that are better than NUS include: communication studies, accounting

Many of my friends still prefer NUS for its vibrancy though. A look at new things in the unis: http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/e ... -this-year

From what we know of and see for ourselves, NTU have alot of a common nationality(free schorlarship type) I shall not mention here where they come from.
Yes NUS will always be the best choice due to global ranking
But when NUS is not an option
SMU will be the next available option based on one's choices
However, we do get some negative feedback fm NUS students who had graduated
At the end of it One have to bear the consequences of the decision made, NO u turn :D

What negative feedback from NUS? For which course?

If yr child is accepted by SMU...there will be a " SMU Discovery Day" given to u...
where u'll hv a chance to find out more abt the course itself, speak to the Profs, Deans, alumni n even current senior students are present where u can ask them questions which concern u...

Cant juz base on global ranking alone as some unis arent ranked becos it is not a full fledged university...such as SMU...

It's more meangingful to compare the particular course which my child will be pursuing in that Uni...

If your dc were to be offered Double Degree in Biz and Accounting by both NTU and SMU, which would he choose and why? Hope to hear your opinions.
