To plaster for pain or to absorb wetness from body?
For muscle aches mainly. The doctor prescribed this for me to relieve some pain for my bad frozen left shoulder.

I went Google for frozen shoulder, it looks serious. Luckily the plaster can help!
Frozen shoulder can be real bad and at times after zzz can’t move. My mum had it once and had to follow up to do physiotherapy.

For frozen shoulder, I found that gentle stretching and rotating of the joint regularly through the day works best. And it will go off after some time (1-2 yrs!). I've had frozen shoulder on both sides, one after the other, and both recovered eventually with the exercises.

Ohh. So that's what it was. I had stiffness and pain in my right shoulder 2 years back. Went to see the doctor at SGH but he only recommended some exercise like pressing my hands up against a wall. He didn't even say what it was and sent me to see another doctor in SGH who merely did some ultrasound tests on my shoulder and never even say anything about my condition. Anyway, I did the hand press everyday after I walked 8 floors up the stairs and the pain gradually went away after a couple of months. But then my OTHER shoulder started having the same problem! So I continued for another 2 months and the pain went away. I did not apply any medication at all.

I suspect I get it because I'm a side sleeper (slept on 1 arm). Now I'm cautious and sleep on my back as much as possible. But I haven't had the problem since (touch wood).

I had frozen shoulder on both sides. I did exercise on one shoulder (I went to see a physiotherapist a few times) and I did not do exercises on the other. Both recovered by itself eventually. I didn’t put any plaster at all.

When I did the exercises, the hand became slightly more flexible. But when my other shoulder got frozen shoulder too, I was too lazy to do the exercises as I feel that the exercises gave me pain while only gave me just a slight more flexibility so I decided not to exercise the other hand as I think it is not worth it. Hahaha…. This is just my sharing. Each person is different. Follow at your own risk. Hahaha…

Are you a side sleeper, ngl2010?
Also, I think regular exercise helps. Anyway, after running up 8 floors, it is a good excuse to say I want to fix my shoulders while I pant

Yes, I am a side sleeper. Anyway, according to some articles e.g. Mayo Clinic, most people is unlikely to experience recurrence of frozen shoulder on the same shoulder. Therefore, we don’t have to deprive ourselves every night of our pleasure in sleeping on our sides  Have a good night sleep tonight Chief!

Probably due to overuse, especially of the mouse! I have various wrist issues due to mouse use, but as I spend so much time on the computer, it's hard to do much about it. I find a wrist support helps, and I try to take breaks, rotate my wrist, etc. I also try to use keyboard shortcuts to reduce clicking the mouse or scrolling with the mouse, but it's not always as efficient.

If hold anything for too long at a certain position, blood flow will be restricted & muscles get strained - mouse, hp, etc. Esp with new iPhones are esp heavy to hold for long hours with their additional camera features. Let yr hands rests & do exercises of writs & arms swings. Carrying heavy things only momentarily so does not necessarily impact strain.
