Is play only just fun and games? New research suggests that specific types of play are associated with the development of particular cognitive skills. This edition of Smart Baby Seminar by Nanyang Technological University examines the importance of play in developing spatial skills, language and math in very young children aged 0-3 years old. Experts in cognitive science, Dr. Barbara Landau and Dr. Amy Shelton from Johns Hopkins University, will give a talk. There will also be ample time to ask questions with a panel of experts on this topic.
