BOOK Fairs

  • Quote

Post by autumnbronze » Sat Feb 20, 2010 10:34 am

Hi all,

I am a self-confessed hoarder of books.... now its books for kids lah :D

I seldom buy on-line cuz I like to get a 'feel' of the books, if you know what I mean. I'd like to share this info with like-minded parents.

Success kidz/shop is having a book fair at these 2 places:

Safra Jurong - 22nd Feb for one week

Hougang, near Macs - 5th March for 2 weeks

They have offers like 3 for $10 or buy 2 get 1 free. All kinds of fiction/non fiction books. A large variety of kids' books and activity and educational books eg from leapfrog, learning horizons, sesame street, blues clues etc... Some of them include audio CD as well. These are under the 3 for $10 category. So its a really good buy.

I am not related to them nor am I getting anything out of this.

I am only a regular customer at their Sembawang SC shop.

If any of you know of any book fairs going on, please share :D :D

Hi,

Also just found out that Carrefour Suntec is having a book fair too. However tomorrow, the 21st is the last day.

Not sure if they have any special offers :D

Thanks for sharing.

However, I love online shopping :D and I don't like book fairs!
Too crowded, too warm and too time consuming.
I like to shop with my mouse, in aircon room and with a cup of coffee ! :D

Nevertheless, we are fellow hoarders of books!

Same same! Plus got to wait for ages in the snaking queue as I lament that the time wasted could have been spent browsing the nearby books some more. Weekdays - impossible cos I work. :( These days, I get so many book recs, I just go to amazon or book depository to just "pull".

Tks just the same, Autumnbronze!
