Game
Form as many valid words of at least 5 letters long from the letters in the given phrase below:
"There's daggers in men's smiles - William Shakespeare's Macbeth"
Prizes
1. Top 3 players with the most number of points win 100, 50 and 25 KS points respectively.
2. Top 3 players who caught the most number of invalid posts win extra 25, 15 and 10 KS points respectively.
3. First 10 players who posted at least 50 valid entries win 10 KS points
Game Duration
1. Game will ends on 28May2010 2359hrs or when there is no more valid entry after 24hrs.
Rules & Points Scoring
1. Valid words must be
- at least 5 letters and can be found in the http://www.dictionarylink.com/
- strictly no 's' or 'es' type of plural but the exception type like child, children is fine.
- No past tense with 'd', 'ed' . Only exceptions like come and came is ok.
- No names of places, buildings, countries, companies etc unless those words are also adjective, verb.. eg. xerox
2. Each word must be formed using the letters in the given phrase. The number of each letter used must not be more than what is in the given phrase. Words used in the given phrase are not valid. eg "smiles", "daggers" etc
3. Each word can only be posted once. A repeated word is considered invalid.
4. Each valid word = 1 point, regardless of length.
5. Each invalid word = -5 points. And the first player who spotted the invalid entry earns 2 points. But a wrong call of invalid entry = -1 point.
6. Strictly no amendments after posting. Each amendment = -2 points. Thus it is still better to amend an invalid post before you get caught, but you would risk ending up with -7 points (-5 from getting caught and -2 for amendments).
7. Each player can only post 1 word each turn. And must wait until after another player has posted a valid word, before participating again.
8. I reserved the rights to amend any rules without prior notice.
