My mind suddenly flashed out a song "There's a part for everyone.......There's a part for one and all......Put your heart, your mind, your soul to our defence....."think is for civil defence, it sounds like one of those National Day Theme song too

The YOG song sounds like a good NDP song. It shows the diversity of the nation, and how we can still live our lives, side by side, being friends that span across the world.

really? It's by Corrinne May. One of Singapore's best recent singers I would say. I like her songs.

Sure beats the YOG one, in any case.

I like Corinne May too.

But I think this song lacks the catchy 'zing' that can be found in Stand Up for Spore and the poignancy in the song Home.

It seems too forgettable ... no impact at all

I like Corrine May's songs too and this year's NDP song sounds like it's from her album. Actually, as i was watching the video, I felt more nostalgic than nationalistic. Can't help but reminisce about school days when we used to practice singing NDP songs in the run up to National Day.

On the other hand, DDs enjoy the song. They are belting out in the background now as I'm writing this post
