[Game] What is the most kiasu thing you have ever done?
At least I would if I knew about the P1 registration system before marriage.MMM wrote:Wonder if going forward, people would be kiasu enough to select their spouse based on the primary schools they attended.

Then based on the shortlisted schools, I visited the schools and spoke with the students to get a feel which schools are more closer to what I seek. Then I checked on the property intensity within 1 km to the school.
Finally, I shifted to within 1km and did PV.

Actually this is quite common. I was checking around the registering date for pre-nursery/kindy 4th month into my pregnancies. Even put my name down and pay before my ds was delivered for PN.RRMummy wrote:Same reaction.. :!: :!: :!: :!:LKVM wrote::!: :!: :!: :!: :!:duriz wrote: The MOST kiasu thing I have ever done is bring DD's birth certificate to the kindergarten of choice to Q for acceptance, right after (delivering) DD and I were discharged from the hospital on the 3rd day
But later, I didn't go to the PN cos of logistics...
yes looking at the stress parents are going through now, to be truly kiasu, I plan to interview my prospective son in law in future n one item to cover is primary school attended.... Bwaaaaaaaaaaah.MMM wrote:Wonder if going forward, people would be kiasu enough to select their spouse based on the primary schools they attended.
In my case, I signed up to attend the first prenatal course (4 lessons in total) conducted by Jocelyn Khoo from Shichida Method less than 1 month after I conceived DS, even though they clearly stated that the course is more suitable for mothers who are at least in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy.
I had to conceal my stage of pregnancy at that time to attend the course. Did what I did because I knew they were not planning to have another session soon and I would miss the prenatal course althogether if I wait for the next one. Imagine all the preggies looking at my "flat" tummy at that time...
And another one...
One day when DS was about 14 months old, I dreamed that I called up DD's ex-Shichida teacher who was then in LNT to enquire lessons for DS. The same week, someone happened to talk to me and told me where LNT was then located. Because of the coincidence of both incidents, plus I was getting bored with DS' Shichida lessons at that time, I went down to LNT and eventually signed DS up for the lesson as well. So till today, DS is attending both Shichida and LNT lessons concurrently...
Am too to even admit to friends about it...
