Brenda, your DD must be pretty mature to be able to appreciate '既来之,则安之'. Yes, we are watching the show of 步步惊心 and are really enjoyable!
According to DD, this is the 2nd time she heard about some phrase like '我不杀伯仁,伯仁因我而死" etc from the China 古装戏.
The 1st time she heard about this phrase was from 倚天屠龙记 two years ago
Now she likes the new phrase of '既来之,则安之'.
