US drama series

Post by sleepy » Wed Aug 15, 2012 12:28 am

Anyone into US drama?
Any great US drama to recommend?

I'm totally hooked on 'Alcatraz' and 'Grimm' now. Both season 1.
'The Secret Circle' is super addictive too. Looking forward to season 2.

Heard Alcatraz will not have season 2 due to poor ratings in US.

I like mysteries or supernatural genre eg. 'Fringe' and of course crime series such as 'CSI', 'Criminal Minds', 'the mentalists'

Let me :stompfeet: about the shows first....I am sick of reruns, some are played repeated so many times each week n once the last episode ended, the first episode of the same season played again same channel same time slot the very next day :slapshead: :stupid: . N got to pay for the channel monthly.

Ok, back to the show...quite like night stalker but less than ten episodes (poor rating in USA 2005 cancelled).

Flashpoint also good but a bit boring cos, week after week, it is kinda like :scared: hostage again?

Hustler, not too ad too. Uk.

Ghost whisperer is back on star world channel 501. Past seasons.

I am unsure about young Sherlock Holmes. Uk.

I like blue blood. Tom selleck :please:

Revenge

White Collar - Neal Caffrey is ohhhhh so handsome, suave and stylo. Good chemistry bet him and the FBI agent

Blue Bloods - Tom Selleck

Secret Circle

Mentalist

Castle - good chemistry between Castle and the female detective

I try to follow regularly, but tough cuz of the lil one. But these are what I currently enjoy

I didn't watch 'Mr Monk'.

'The Mentalist' probably fits the bill, light humour and it's about investigation. 'White collar' too

I am currently watching Gilmore girls & Dexter.

Before that was In plain sight, Brothers & Sisters

Waiting patiently for latest seasons of

Criminal minds
CSI
CSI NY
Greys Anatomy
Revenge
True Blood
Supernatural

To be available for download, be it in itunes or elsewhere.

Not going to follow Grimm, find it kinda boring. Was told Alcatraz is pretty good.

I don't watch these shows on TV as I get irritated by the 1 week wait for the next epi. I tend to find pockets of time and I watch them in bulk. So I prefer the entire series to be available before I start watching.

I love Gilmore Girls.

It was one show I looked forward to some years back, often missing my runs on Sundays, cuz it was shown at 6pm

Quite sad when they ended the series.
