With rising costs and increased learning needs, financing our children's education is no longer a simple walk in the park. Discuss with other parents about how they are managing their finances to cope with their expenses.

I feel this is quite a good rate without the committment of a FD.

Under low interest rates environment, may consider the following:
Prudential 1 year single premium plan at 2% pa guaranteed.
AIA 2 year single premium plan at 2%pa guaranteed (existing customers)

FYIP

Starlight, maybe one day everything will be done online... So it’s good to start somewhere, maybe try $10K-$20K?

Doing everything online / filling in forms yourself, treat it as if the company is returning the overheads saved to you thus they can afford to pay you an interest of 2.5%. Else you will need to pay 0.5% to the staff who helps you to fill in the forms
