Just wondering if anyone here has bought wholesale items from alibaba.com and what is your experience like? Is it reliable?

If we were to set up an online store, where else can we obtain products at wholesale prices? Buying from US sites incur a lot of shipping costs...

My husband was the alibaba Gold member last year and he paid around USD 3600 for the Gold member fees but he gave up the membership this year due to the fee was to high.
Anything deal online, it will sure to have reliable supplier, scam, ..... it depend on how and what type of payment method for the products that you purchased.
