I have 3 life insurance policies, 1st one was bought for me by my dad, 2nd one was an endowment policy bought when I was in high school, the 3rd one i bought to support my friend. :rahrah:

Then, the rest were bought for my DDs when they were born.

Hubby has a few single premium ones

Hi, Shawn Lim.

My dad bought for me the first life policy from Dai-ichi Life, when we were living in Japan, then was 1988.

The second one was bought when I was in high school in Taiwan, bought from 國泰人壽.

The rest all bought from my girl friend whom is with Prudential.

All are life policies, some with endowment, or single premium.... something like that; haven't really sit down to review them.

From what I know abt insurance from GF...

Many life policies are now packaged with investment, meaning more room to grow money (lose money) less emphasis on the life insurance part, or at least not the focus selling point.

It used to be as simple as ABC, a fix premium for a fix age of standard life for a certain fix amount of sum assured; and we reap yearly bonuses ... but it's not the case now. Many life insurance products are pact with some unit trust/investment funds etc.... really confusing for consumers.

Ah... Now I recall :slapshead: ... The first post in this thread was posted by me to another member on either the Forex, Gold or Silver investment/trading threads... and then someone in KSP admin office opened a new thread and relocate it here, probably because my post was off topic...
