Dd's friend had offered to give dd her 'old' iphone cos the friend got a latest version. dd was so tempted to take (relatively new one) but declined in the end. I am glad she didn't take it.
Then, it was ds' turn where his classmate asked him if ds wanted his sister's iphone. ds was also tempted but didn't take up the offer. I am glad that he didn't take it too.
Why do parents allow their children to give away their 'old' smartphones freely? Isn't there a better way to handle unwanted smartphones which still have some value? Have you encountered the same?
