I would invest it in a proven franchise model like Ya Kun or Macdonalds

Ah, the franchise fee for macdonald and ya kun is more than a million. Franchise is one thing, staffing and rent is another thing. The ya kun rental at hdb hub is about $40,000/mth FYI. Rental is killing a lot of SME.

Ah, the franchise fee for macdonald and ya kun is more than a million. Franchise is one thing, staffing and rent is another thing. The ya kun rental at hdb hub is about $40,000/mth FYI. Rental is killing a lot of SME.

So far haven't heard of anyone make lost in properties. Any?

i think so long there is flow, the biz should be ok.... a small old chang kee shop 1 day revenue can be 2-3k on weekdays, weekends even higher......

Maybe if have 2-3 million dollars can consider franchise.. 1 million too tight.. Probably tight on cash flow..

i think if one has 2-3M would buy 2-3 condos can collect rental for a living..... market rate for 1M condo is about 5k..... if can own 2-3 then about ~10-15k monthly income can live comfortably in SG.....

whereas running a biz needs time, effort and commitment....
