Is it legal for owners of private property to rent out their condo for short term through Airbnb in Singapore?

Nope, illegal but is difficult to catch, cos owner will tell their tenant .. if authority ask, just say you are friend/relative coming to Singapore holiday.

From URA website :
Private residential properties or their rooms within the premises should not be rented out on a short-term basis for less than 6 months on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

But i understand that government is looking at allowing rental below 6 months.
May be 'approve' soon like Uber.
