I just top up a $10 for use on the train this evening.

Had wanted to top up using nets, then realized unable to do so. Have to use cash to do the top up.

This flash pay can used to pay in McD and some other eateries (I saw some hawker stalls at Clementi FC) have this flash pay logo.

Other than these, I also dunno what else to use for.

My husband has it on his EZLink card (not all will have this feature) and tops it up with cash at the MRT station (I don't know if he's tried using NETS to top up). He likes to use it for small payments (7-11, MacDs, some hawker stalls) because he doesn't like to collect coins!

Yes, the coins giving and collecting was part of the Flash Pay selling point. I remember the white hair uncle singing So Easy.

I saw that the transport fares top up can be a auto facility.

We generally avoid auto things which involve money, especially when linked to our bank account - too hard to track and reverse if things go wrong!
