Victoria Integrated Pgm/ Temasek Academy -which better?

Victoria Integrated Pgm/ Temasek Academy -which better?

Postby sporemum » Tue Jul 27, 2010 10:03 pm

My child applied for both.

1) Any views on which of these pgms are better? (That's assuming the positive outcome is to be offered for both!)

2) Rght now TA outcome is successful but VIP is still pending. Can we accept TA offer then wait for VIP outcome before making final decision? Any repercussions?
Seems bad doing this, but since the offer periods do not overlap it's like we havent much choice.

tks for all views.

VIP should be better because it is VJC.

VJC had informed all successful TA applicants by 12 August.

You can only accept one school.

Both are good JC.

VJC - More vibrant balance with academic component

TJC - Students seem very serious in their work (seen on the actual site)

My child has been offered a place in both TA and VIP.

We have accepted the TA. But oops now we hv a change of minds for the VIP! Any idea how to do that ? Just accept VIP and then write to TJC to withdraw?

Seems quite bad to be changing minds and all that, but this is a major decision - it is pretty worrying to make a wrong choice as it affects the child for the next 4 yrs.
