Can also use 泡参, not as heaty as chicken essence. But don't take it if the child has flu or phlegm.

I think kids these days are so pitiful - school ends at 4pm . then nite rush to enrichment centres. then back home - we will say - can study somemore? They really have no childhood like catching spider or just run around. ... I am also one of the guilty parent that makes my kid study and study ....... this is just our education system

Scare lose if we dun study ... but when we come out to work - it's never the studious or good result people that get promoted but smooth talker - irony - instead of teaching our kids to 'network' we still hope they can do well in their exam with A*

NEED TO DO WELL WITH GOOD high A not just A ... smooth talker can be train down the road ... but no 2nd chance for PSLE folks :stupid: :!: :clubmyself:

I give my daughter the normal adult type but I give her 1/2 bottle only, u can keep the other 1/2 in the fridge for next day consumption.
consume in the morning after breakfast.
Don't give in the evening, too alert may not induce sleep as a good night sleep is important for next day exam.
U can also give some 泡参 to bring up energy level.
Just put a few slices of it and pour some hot water over it, covered and let it soak for a while before consumption.

My daughter just cant drink it, safter all the motivation she agrees but the moment it goes into her mouth she throws up. and pleads and pleads that she just cant

Any way to disguise its smell, flavour...
PS - DD hates honey so that is rules out....

My fave recommendations:
- For students who are really very tired, 1 hour nap after school helps alot in terms of how much they absorb during revision/tuition after their nap. Try it out and see the difference :) A tired child may learn physically but not mentally.

- If your child hates chicken essence, cook it into dishes. My fave: frog legs steamed with chicken essence. Frog legs is traditionally known to provide energy for stamina too!

- Flower essences. Not many people have heard of this. It's called Bach Flower Remedies. Google it to read more :)
They have different flower essence for different purposes. I normally reommend the RESCUE REMEDY as it's a ready blend, just add into normal drinking water (so smell/taste). Tried it on myself, my students, my son and even my dog. It helps to calm the nerves.
Also good for students who are very distracted.
I purchase from: WWW.IHERB.COM (Use YAF688 to get US$5 off your first purchase!)
They ship direct to SG at very reasonable prices. After adding shipping, it's still cheaper than buying in SG.
However, if you do not trust online shopping and want to see the physical product, you can get it at BROWN RICE PARADISE, Tanglin Mall (L2 or L3, can't recall). :)

- A relaxing foot massage. No need to pay, daddy or mummy can do it. To help them relax, press the tips of their big toes. Can google online on Acupressure. It helps :)
