Does anyone know what the CIP points accumulated in Pri school is for?

Thought MOE only gives grade for CIP/CCA in secondary school. So these are for what? For fun, ah?

Some schools ask to fill up CIP hours in their DSA forms. Have seen it on ACS(I) and RVH DSA application form.

Is that right? SO what's considered good? 30, 60, 100 hours?

Duno leh, you can ask them during the dsa talk or call them up if your child is applying these schools.

I just realize that my son report book has this new field called CIP in this year record. He is only in P3 this year. He seems to have clocked quite a fair bit of hours too. When I asked him what has he clocked, he couldn't answer me leh.

I did know that he had participated in a charity event in school but didn't think that that event alone can clock him that much hours. :?

ha! If don't see this never mind since the kiddo also doesn't know what's that.

If for whatever reason got see and then ask he kids what good work have they done....and they couldn't answer; wouldn't it do more harm than good?!
