2011 PSLE MATH exam

Postby Angel2005 » Fri Sep 30, 2011 1:10 pm

To parents who's P6 child sat for the PSLE MATHS paper today, how did your child find it? My daughter found Section A & B ok but found Paper 2 difficult. Would like to know especially from parents who's kids are pretty good at Maths how their kids felt ... Hard or easy? Thanks.

OMG. My son just called me CRYING his heart out. He is an average Math student and he said he left many questions unanswered for Paper 2. Sigh.

Oh dearie me. Knew my daughter was upset the minute she got back. PSLE is soooo stressful n both parents and child, and often very unnecessarily so. Let's just hope for the best.

Hi Ghostandbeast. You just sat for the exam? You found it easy? Have you always been very good at Maths? Which school
Are you from?

My DD felt that it was easy. The q were easy but the methods they had to use were time-consuming

Hi Guitar, am glad your daughter found it easy. Mine too agreed that some of the methods were very time consuming even tho it was a 3 mark question etc. Am doing my own mini-poll... Has your daughter always been good at math? And is she from a top school?

It was ok. But most of my friends said it was difficult. Btw, whats the answer 4 q15 of paper 2? Is it 199?
