My boy only got a 225 with 4As and credit for Higher Chinese. Not much choice of school. Thinking to try Swiss Cottage (234) and Kranji(230) and 3rd choice Westspring (222) do anyone think I can try my luck or should i just stick with westspring?

Hi,

I would put Bukit Batok before West Spring. BBSS is a band 5 school and it has obtained academic value-add award. BBSS environment also better, go visit the school to see it for yourself.

Hi,

Did anybody go to swiss cottage open house on 19 Nov? I didn't and the school does not accept visitor now.... from outside, the school looks a little old. Will you recommend putting Swiss Cottage before Kranji without even visiting the school at all?

Swiss cottage is a good school. My eldest daughter finished her Sec 4 this year. Culture & environment is good. She is very happy there. Academically did better than her primary school. The only down side it is a tad old.

fp041195, I went for SCSS Open House. If you have any specific questions, I will try my best to help. You can go to FB, the school has an official FB network page and also the principal's desk.

Er...for me personally, I do not care much about whether a school looks new or old.
Both SCSS and Kranji are very close in terms of banding and COP but the subject combinations are slightly different. The two principal's style also quite different.....
