my dd can qualify to enter the above 3 schools.
However I am not sure which one to choose from.
Would like to know their teaching style etc
I prefer NJC cos $ is less but somehow, some advise me against it.
Do comment the difference between NYGH & RGS too.

I assume that your dd qualified for EESIS? If that's the case then the scholarship would go some ways in defraying the school fees for NYGH and RGS.

Of the three schools, I would say go for either NYGH or RGS. One leads to HCI, the other to RI. Both are reputable A level institutions. The Raffles brand is highly regarded in reputable universities in the US and UK. HCI is well-regarded in some Chinese universities I understand. The two schools are vastly different in terms of culture and environment. Did you go to the Open Houses of the two schools in May this year? If you did you'll understand what I mean by the two schools being very different. Both are very good schools. It's which one your dd would feel more comfortable in.

Unfortunately, we did not go to either of the open houses.
What is EEISS?
IS NJC not reputable? I thought NJC has about 50 years history.

EESIS is a scholarship amounting to $2400 pa awarded to the top 3% of PSLE scorers, provided they enrol in an independent school. You would know if your dd was awarded EESIS bec it would be reflected in the perforated statement that came with her PSLE results. Did your dd score >260? If she did, then she would have gotten EESIS.

NJC is the oldest JC in Singapore. It had its glory days in the 1970s and 1980s. HCI and RI took over top spots after that and they've been occupying it since.
