Invitation to dsa via sports

My ds received an invitation to dsa hwa Chong via cca. Does it mean that he will be given a place in the school when we dsa and there is no need for him to go thru Gat and interview. New to dsa so hope experience parents can help.

I don't think so. My friends' kids who were invited to DSA via sports still had to sit for GAT and interviews. But these were in other schools, not HCI.
