No of IP places in the IP schools

Catholic High - 170
MGS - 60
SCGS - 120
SJI - 125
St Nicholas - 170
TJC - 150

The above was taken from a Straits Times report.

Anybody know the no of IP places in the other IP schools, can help to provide?

ACSI - 180
Cedar Girls - ?
Dunman High - 400
HCI - 450 (not confirm)
Nanyang Girls - 420
NJC - 200
NUS High - 150-170
RGS - ?
RI - 450 (not confirm)
River ValleyHigh - 400
Victoria - ?

ACSI - 180
NUSH - 170 (however, they are very selective & may not fill all the vacancies. Seemingly, only 150+ gets in each year.

mistral77, thanks for your consolidation, really helpful. It will be really great if anyone knows how many are already taken up thru DSA. Thanks.

For RI, it's approximately 50% DSA & 50% S1 Posting..

NUSH - DSA 90% ie. 153 places PSLE 10%
ACSI - DSA 50% ie. 90 places

DSA is 50% according to MOE guideline, except for NUSH.

Competition for places, not necessarily IP places:

1. mixed school -> 100% more because it is for both gender, not for boys or girls only
2. SAP school -> 25% less because it is mainly for the Chinese students
3. IP school -> 50% of places taken up via DSA
4. school with affiliated primary school -> places alloted to affiliated primary school students with a lower cut off point

Agree. :goodpost:
One point tho, IP places are typically via merits, no affiliation component.
