Pls helpWhich sec schools need pupils to buy ipad laptop etc

Hi everyone. My daughter is going to secondary school in 2013 and I want to buy her a laptop during the holidays but I heard that in some top schools, it would be best for sec 1 students to get the laptops and other devices that the school orders. So I would really like to know which schools mass orders these things.

SST uses Mac laptop.
Think it is best to wait till posted to school and see what computer the school use. Now, MS comes out with Windows 8 some more. Maybe canbuy cheaper if bulk order.

Nanyang Girls uses iPad if I remember correctly.

I think it's probably better for you to wait for the school's briefing to decide which laptop to get for your dd. Some schools have specific requirements which may change in your dd's year.
