The COP for NJC is 258 and our score is 258, if we put in as 1st choice, wonder what is the chances??

No one can tell you your chances. The COP changes from year to year depending on the cohort and the number applying for the school you're interested in. Having said that, if NJC is the school you really want to go to, just put it as first choice. If you don't get NJC, the system will consider the next few schools you have down your list.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Anglican High vs SJI (Express) vs Chung Cheng vs Nan Chiau? Living at Serangoon. TIA!

MGS IP leads to International Baccalaureate.
Its being offered for the first time this year at MGS and the first for a girls school.
Prior to 2013 intake, IB is only offered at ACS and SJI .

All the other IP like NJC and even RGS IP leads to A Levels.

Research the pros and cons of IB vs A levels before deciding on NJC vs MGS.

I think it's quite likely you will get in, many sec1 students in NJC this year got 258 and got in. But if the cop become 259 then quite likely you'll get your 2nd choice.

Seems only SJI is the odd one out being a non SAP school. But it offers the IP as well so there could be a possibility for a switch at Yr 3 to IP if the child does very well in lower Sec.

My DD got 235 for her PSLE.
Her top 3 choices are : Nan Chiau, Chung Cheng (Yishun) and XinMin Sec.
Please advise which should be her 1st choice and why.

1st choice should be the one she most prefer. U can consider tkgs and tk sec as well....
