Hi all,

My son just got his PSLE results yesterday and is unable to decide which school CCKS,AHS or CHS to go to.His marks was 251(without HMT),253(with HMT).

Initally,he wanted to go to TJC which offers 6 year IP programme this year but his marks, most slightly, would not be able to make it  .Then he said he likes DHS also but the cut off point last year was 256 but I felt that the cut off point would drop as this year more schools are offering IP so I decided to let him put as his first choice.

Then, his second choice,he says that he like Chung Cheng High School Main but we,as his parents, feel that Anglican High School was a better choice in terms of academic. He felt that it was ok too but he said that there isint really any CCA that interests him in Anglican High School. He said that he likes Catholic High School and Victoria School too but he doesnt like the fact that it is a boys school as he tends to mix around better with his opposite gender.

So,we are unable to decide between which school to put as his 2nd choice. :scratchhead:

go for his preferred CCA and look for a school which excels in it & has good academics.
Ultimately, he will need to be in that CCA for a full four years.
Distance plays a very big part too.
