how and where can I buy a cheap , good quality and long lasting school shoe ? Budget is max $20

Is bata good ? How long can it last ?
Long heard of bata = buy and throw away
Is it true ?
PVC or canvas ?Which is better and last longer ?

For $20 and below budget, you can buy Bata, Checkers. My kids have worn these two brands before and they are quite durable. Sometimes, Sportslink sells a Cambridge brand but I find it not as good.

For me, I prefer to buy shoes with pvc-type (netting kind) of material rather than those with hard pvc covering the whole shoe. I find them more flexible and breatheable. The hard pvc type is less flexible and cracks easily after some time
