Anybody has comments on these 2 sec schs?

I have a friend whose daughter is doing her O levels in Evergreen this year. She told me this is a good school and her daughter is doing fine there. But she is one of those mums who really leave the kids to be independent and she is not bothered about their work too much so i can't be sure if it is an accurate feedback but can't be too far off i think.

My fren's son studying @ Riverside....Good school. After Yishun Town, seems to be the second best.

How is the walking distance from Riverside to woodlands MRT, is it convenient?
