Better T Score if your stronger subject has tough Q-paper

Postby DadOfGirl » Mon Nov 09, 2009 8:24 pm

Like it happened with Maths this year. I happen to talk to parent , though disappointed that Maths paper was tough, also mentioned that it will be good for his son as Maths was his stronger subject. there will be wide spread of marks..

My Girl unfortunately not so strong in maths & some more did not do well in paper... May drop below 65. Is is very bad for T score. Language are strong , but since paper were not so tough, score of 90 & above will only coverup for damage in maths. Not so sure , she fight for every single mark in Languages in the 2 hours that matter most..

Hope there will be some moderation in maths

My DD got A though , CA1/Prelim was below 75. SA1 has practical added that's the time she crossed 75.

Science was as easy as English

Range for A and A* is quite wide. A can be high A or low A. Similary A* can be hihg A* or low A*.

So the total aggregrate t-score is a better guide
