It really depends on the child's personality and ability, I think, so it's hard to generalise. I have one child who likes challenge, and another who will do better in a less challenging, safer environment.

Yes, this is my kids first consideration. After that, the nearer home the better.

Yup, I strongly agree. It really does depend on the child's personality and ability. However, I also think that the distance, size and how good the school is will also be important to consider.

My DD likes to do art subjects and art club with digital arts / manga drawings.
