DSA - Wushu

Anyone has experience to share regarding DSA through Wushu?

How many students do HCI, VS and DHS take in via DSA wushu each year? Any chance of success if child did not receive any medal from wushu competitions so far but is in school team? How rigorous is the wushu training in the above 3 schools?

Will child definitely get to represent the secondary school in inter-school comps if he successfully enters the school through DSA?

Any experience to share will be welcome! Thank you.

From my friend's ds experience,

If no medal from interschool wushu competitions, chances are low as vacancy for wushu DSA is limited.

No idea but you should attend the various open houses and speak to the teachers.

Found this http://www.hci.sg/studentcare/CCA%20training%20schedule%202012.pdf
Usually DSA via sports, they will pick those with competition experience unless your coach has highly recommended your child to the school's coach
Yes, the DSAed kids have to stay committed to the sports, train hard and will likely to be in school team to compete.
