Oh! Was thinking along the lines of foreign language… think too much, sorry!
We just got the email today from NYGH for uniform and text book purchase from 1 Dec to 21 Dec. Book online in advance and reserve time slot to school for collection. Exchange also allowed after 21 Dec. Maybe you can check with your DSA school.
Agreed. For my dd dsa sports application many years ago, we also spent lots of money on extra coaching and training up to 6x a week 4h each in P6, on top of extra schwork given by sch in preparation for psle. There was once (CA1-intersch comps period) she became the last in class for maths (she's in top class)...that was also a wakeup call to try to balance both and not be lopsided. Lucky all ended well both in dsa app and psle results as she did not want to enter the sch without qualifying for cop (internal challenge).kiasu_pig wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 12:34 am
If not for DSA and relying on their mediocre academic results alone, it would be impossible to get into their choice schools. For DSA route via sports, 1-1 coaching and strength conditioning sessions to have that extra edge is critical. During the year of DSA itself, both my boys went thru intensive 1-1 coaching to brush up their skills, speed, stamina and sighting. Glad that their effort paid off.
Let me know if anyone needs advice on DSA (basketball) for pre-covid (based on 2019) and covid year (based on 2021).

Just to be on the safe side.. Email them to ask, before u head down?
Better bring your PSLE letter indicating the school to show the security guard.MamaO wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 10:18 amZeal mummy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 4:20 pmFor some schools, you will need an appointment if you want to buy uniforms or books directly from the school itself. Hi, I just called the uniform supplier, was told open daily to sell in school.
Do you think could just go down and tell security to buy uniform
I think for sports, no choice but have to start early.Imp75 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 8:34 amAgreed.
