Going back work full time soon, part-time regular help would be great, but typical agency ones seem expensive. For example, cooking they state min 3 hrs and works out to over 60$ but i dont need 3 hr cooking everytime! any suggestions most welcome!

How about an hour of laundry and ironing, an hour of prep/cooking and an hour of cleaning up and washing dishes etc?

There's also a bunch of services that provide cooked food for lunch/dinner. No house work, of course.

hmm, not really required, i have dishwasher, laundry my mum will manage(any work not physically demanding she can manage, she will come over soon) and but generally i prepare all our meals, so seeing if i can manage to outsource this task :)
mum cant have other foods, only typical south indian food, so preferably everyday or alternate will work work me, but three hours at this frequency will be unaffordable ha ha

hmm, i did look into those, but there is none for south indian vegetarian meal, but a cook will be able to adapt to our taste better once they come regularly i suppose, hence trying this option

the south indian meal is pretty simple and it wont take more than an hour, so still searching(especially for my mum, she is not used to any other cuisine)

Oh I see, now we have a clearer idea of what you are looking for. I would suggest to ask around your neighbours, they might have someone they use that they can recommend or if they don’t mind doing so if they are already cooking their own meal.

Are those dishes doable using some cookers like pressure cooker/thermal pot/slow cooker etc?

its generally a combination of pressure cooker and pans&pots, predominently for lunch which tends to be a more elaborate preparation using these utensils.
