are all built-in kitchen cabinets mounted on cement base?
if i need to replace/remove my kitchen cabinet , does it mean that i have to also re-tile the kitchen floor? :moneyflies:

if i need to replace faulty fridge, washing m/cs they also need to be same size as existing one? since they also got the base? :faint: :faint:

replacing kitchen cabinet need not replace the cemet base or tiles, as long as the new design fits.

of course, the new fridge / washing machines have to fit into the available space.

Hack up the base? Or extend?

I hv friends who add additional bottom cabinets w/o base.
My sil's fridge base is too small for her new fridge so she decided not to place it at the same spot. She store things on the base instead.

when we renovated our kitchen .. we only built base for the cabinets so as to prevent against the wood coming into contact with water when we wash the floor. No base for the fridge and washing machine .. anyway you can always get those individual stand and place them on top (4 corners) from those diy/hardware stores if you want them elevated
