My house toilet is very mouldy, especially the ceiling. Washed and painted it just last year but it is mouldy again. Is there any special kind of paint to prevent mould?

We leave the toilet/bathroom door open after every use but still the toilet smell moudy and the towels are affected too.

I think ur ceiling is leaking?May be ur ceiling need to be repaired.Call HDB repairs officers.

Don't seem to see any leakage. This weekend will go to shop to see whether there is any special paint for toilets. Will wash and repaint one more time.

Did you use waterproof paint for the ceiling?

There's also the anti-bacterial or anti-fungi kind of paint too,
on top of being waterproof. Mebbe that might help?

Try tea-tree oil mixed with water and wipe over the area. I had mould on my gypsium board wall last December due to the high humidity. I applied tea-tree oil mixed with water on the wall, and so far it works.

Sounds like a huge amount of humidity at your place. Don't have any idea to solve the humidity. But if you wish to try spraying your ceiling with bleach first, then clean it up and paint. Bleach kills everything, including that impossible black mould. Just ensure the kids are not around the area and you protect your eyes and skin when doing this!

Or roll the bleach on as if it's paint!!! But make sure u keep a distance by using a long stick with the roller. Some brand of bleach is VERY the strong!!! And then mix some white paint with the bleach and repaint the ceiling!!

Hahahaha not sure if it is a good idea to mix bleach with paint. I honestly don't know the chemical reactions involved in this one!

what kind of tea tree oil ? the pure type is very expensive. very heart pain if use on the wall , which will probably requires a lot
