For me and my wife we are both working.
My kids actually go to childcare and the maid will be alone at home.

Can I know if anyone have the same configuration and how do you ensure the maid will do her part to make sure the home is clean.

Any measures that you take?

I don't. But you can try installing CCTV. Maybe with the CCTV, the maid will not dare to slack. You'll probably need a few, living room, kitchen, dining area. Have one system that you have recording and live viewing.

You are right currently have one in living room and realise she always hide in kitchen

Now going to get one more unit in the kitchen see where she can run to now

Realise cleanliness not up to standard.

You use cctv also?if so wat brand?

I have CCTV more to see what my kids are doing when I'm not at home.
I'm using the one provided by BDE Techonlogy. Iphone viewing is using the free app eagle.
I also regret not putting one in the kitchen. My kids love to go to the kitchen too.

A good thing when we have CCTV is we can rest assured our maids will not be dumb enough to bring outsiders home.

My maid has been with me for many years, so cleanliness also slips sometimes. :frustrated: But what to do.....sometimes have to close one eye.

My method to make her clean is to invite guest to my place. She's got pride, so she'll clean to show she's a good maid.

Forgot to add, my kids goes to kindergarten. So they are back by noon time, my maid is kept pretty busy one way or another by their endless demands.

I got it about $1100. 2 cameras. Includes installation. Additional cam cost abt $200. The DVr supports up to 4 channels.

I would think you will be able to tell whether she is keeping it clean or not. If you can't tell then it probably doesn't matter :-)

Does she have a list of tasks? We gave ours a list of things that have to be done daily (e.g. mop kitchen floor, cook dinner), weekly (clean bathrooms, change bedsheets), bi-weekly (change bathroom mats), monthly (clean windows) then left it to her to manage her schedule within that.

If your children are out all day, she will have plenty of time - you should have a sparkling clean place!

Hi nms1,

I recalled you shared with us your schedule in one of the threads. Would you mind sharing it again.

I will be getting a replacement maid in the next few days.
