POEA fees

Hi,
My agent is asking for SGD250 POEA fees etc for replacement of maid if I pick a new maid from PHL.
Is this necessary payment?
Understand from the POEA website that the admin fee is only PHP200 which is SGD6!
Think SGD250, there's other things like insurance etc. included.
Also, agent's website say that they are Philippines Embassy accredited but didn't find their name on the website.
If this is true, can I lodge a complaint against them with CASE and get back my initial agent fee?
Appreciate your advice.
Quite affected by this maid saga and trouble which I would not like to relive going thru what happened.
Would like to just get the facts and recover as much money paid out to them.
Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Some agencies do cost breakdown, some lumped everything together, looked more expensive but already included POEA, etc.

The logic for passport DIY renewal is the same. Do yourself cheap, cost as per website.
Ask agent to do, you are suppose to pay them handling fee. CASE will not entertain you.

Me too wish agency can refund me the above $1k agency fee paid .... or at least 80% so that I can find a replacement for my current lousy, forgetful, inmatured, dishonest and a bit princess FDW.

Thanks sad citizen.
I think CASE helped more than AEAS.
