When should I negotiate pay package

My helper contract is due for renewal this October but she has asked to go back for home leave during Hari Raya which is in July.
So my question is - do I negotiate her increment (which she will sure ask for) before she goes back for home leave (in July) or in October? My concern is if we dont come to an agreement on pay package that means I will fork out another air ticket for her to go back.
